Edward Lee Tabor

1933 - 2008

Funeral services for Edward Lee Tabor, age 74, of Stillwater, Okla. were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Glen Wood Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home.

Tabor was born on August 12, 1933 to Charley E. and Lear (Solley) Tabor in Keota, Okla. He grew up and attended school in the Keota and Cottonwood School area. He later married Edna Sharpton on September 15, 1952 in Perkins, Okla. at the Eden Chapel.

His hobbies included: farming, attending cattle and farm auctions and working on his tractor. The highlights of his life were his family and friends.

Tabor died February 4, 2008 at the Grace Living Center, Stillwater, Okla.

He is survived by: wife: Edna of the home; one son: Robert Lee Tabor of Everman, Texas; two daughters: Gwen Harris and husband Jim of Emporia, Kan. and Shirley Jonell Sneed and husband David Jr. of Stillwater, Okla.; grandchildren: Robert Lee Tabor Jr, Brandi Tabor, Alicia Tabor, Theresa Tabor, Melissa Williams, Chris Harris, Angie Harris and Trey Sneed; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: father; Charley, mother; Lear and one brother; Buddie Tabor.
